I SEE A FEW SHINY SPOTS ON MY WAFFLE IRON, IS THIS A DEFECT?

The shiny spots on the waffle iron are where we grind the gates marks from the raw castings. We also perform minor “touch up” work to remove casting flash. These are normal markings.
